Chill Out @ Archipelago Bar

After a great work out at the gym, it was time to chill out! And we went to this bar that I wanted to try since I read about it in the papers. Archipelago Bar, situated at the corner of a row of shop houses in Circular Road. A small place to boot, but certainly with lots of character. Appreciating the old lanterns decorating the walls, we settled ourselves onto a small table at the back of the bar, and ordered the Traders Ale and the Travellers Wheat. The former was a strong ale "that is creamy, smooth, and completely enjoyable", so to quote from the bar's website; whereas the latter was more fruity and smooth, and "is truly enjoyable, refreshing, and very easy to drink".

Swaying to the tune of the music, and watching other patrons having fun drinking "flaming lamborghini", we felt totally relaxed. It's somewhat different from other fave drinking spots of ours e.g. Brewerkz and Wine Garage; and it was an enjoyable experience. With the extremely good service provided, we'll definitely be back for more great tasting ales.
