Hidden Treasures @ Chinatown Temporary Market and Food Centre

We acted on a tip off from a friend regarding good food in this temporary food centre near Outram Park MRT. He say there was cheap and good food there, and indeed it was. Our target for today was Grand Stewed Herbal Soup, from which we ordered a BBQ stingray, a imperial herbal chicken soup, water cress soup, stir fried vegetables and shishamo, all for under $30! Simply a great bargain! You might have to bear with the smoky place though, but for the sake of good food, it worth it.

Whilst waiting for the food to come, we tried out the chee cheong fun and the porridge at a stall near our seat, and it was a great find too. The price was good and the porridge was very smooth. Mind your tongue though.. its hot!
